Minvo Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Scotly Apps Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [NUMBER]), registered office [ADDRESS] ("we", "us"). By using Minvo you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

1. Who can use Minvo

You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for activity on your account.

2. What Minvo is

Minvo lets you chat with AI models from several providers, create and edit images, make short videos, use tools such as read aloud, document conversion, form filling and link summaries, and keep memory, projects and chats in sync across your devices, in the apps and at minvo.ai. Replies, images, videos and voices are generated by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions without checking with a qualified person. Models listed in the app are provided by third parties and may change; we will keep the app's model list accurate.

3. Free use and subscriptions

  • Free: a weekly allowance of messages on everyday models, a small weekly image allowance and the other features shown in the app. Limits are shown in the app and may change.
  • Pro: available weekly, monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
  • Allowances: Pro includes the weekly allowances shown in Settings (for example, messages with Smart and Advanced models, images, web searches, read aloud, conversions, link summaries and forms). Meters show what is left and reset every 7 days. When a chat allowance runs out, chat keeps working on everyday models. An optional Weekly refill can be bought in the app to reset your allowances for the current week.
  • Credits: videos, and conversions beyond your weekly allowance, use credits bought in packs in the app. The price of each video in credits is shown before you start it. Credits do not expire and cannot be exchanged for money. If a video fails, or you cancel it before it starts generating, its credits are returned in full; once a video is generating it cannot be stopped and its credits are used.
  • Billing and renewal: payment is taken by Apple or Google. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Free trials and introductory offers: any trial or introductory price, its length and the price afterwards are shown before you confirm. We send a reminder before a trial converts.
  • Refunds: purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled under their policies (reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google Play order history). Failed or blocked images and videos never count against your allowance or credits.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you put into Minvo (messages, files, photos) and, as far as the law allows, of the outputs generated for you. You give us permission to process your content only to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI models.

5. Photos of people

Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have given you permission. Do not use Minvo to create images or videos that sexualise anyone, depict real people in a misleading or harmful way, or impersonate public figures. Generated images carry provenance metadata that identifies them as AI-generated; do not remove it to deceive anyone.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Minvo to:

  • break the law or help anyone else do so;
  • create sexual content involving minors, or any non-consensual intimate imagery;
  • harass, threaten, defame or exploit anyone;
  • create malware, plan violence or weapons capable of mass harm;
  • pass off AI output as human-made in order to deceive;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property;
  • get around allowances, access limits or safety systems, resell access, or scrape the service.

We may filter requests that break these rules, and suspend or close accounts that repeatedly do. The AI providers' own usage policies also apply to content sent to their models.

7. Our intellectual property

The app, the website, their design, style presets, templates and prompts belong to Scotly Apps. Style presets describe general artistic styles and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any studio or brand.

8. Changes and availability

We may change features, models and allowances to keep the service working and affordable. If a change significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance, and you can cancel. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee the service will always be uninterrupted.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending

You can stop using Minvo and delete your account at any time in Settings, or at minvo.ai/delete-account. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live, and can bring claims in your local courts.
